C. Darrell Roland, CCA, PCC
I have served the past 13 years as an Executive Pastor for The Harvest, a growing multi-site church in Lexington, SC. Prior to moving into ministry, I spent 20 years in corporate and industrial environments gaining practical business and management experience furthering my ability to lead teams. I actively assist churches by serving locally and nationally with the National Association of Church Business Administrators (NACBA).
I completed my church administration studies as a NACBA Certified Church Administrator at Candler Theological Institute at Emory University.
I am also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and serve as faculty of Coaching4Clergy as a Trainer, Class Facilitator, Coach and Mentor Coach to pastors and ministry leaders. I found that coaching skills serve me well since I believe there is no "cookie cutter" path for people or ministry. Coaching helps me to walk alongside as a guide to create a unique path for their future.
My family and I are active in missions and ministry. Sylvie, my wife of 28 years and I serve as Marriage Ministers & Coaches in our local church and have led mission trips to Hungary.
Our son, Shaun, serves as AV Manager in the local church and our daughter, Tamra, serves on staff with Young Life.

I have been actively working in church administration since 1990, serving as an independent contractor with Shelby Systems Church Management Software Company since 1998. This role as consultant and trainer has allowed me to work with hundreds of churches and ministry organizations, implementing accounting and membership needs while creating unique solutions for each ministry organization. Prior to working with Shelby Systems, I served 8 years as the business administrator of Shandon Baptist Church in Columbia, SC.
I graduated from The Citadel with my degree in Business Administration and received my Master’s Degree in Management while serving in the US Air Force.
My wife, Paige, and I just recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. We are actively involved in the life of our church through youth and family ministry as well as missions. I currently serve as a deacon. Our children, Thomas and Becca, are actively involved in college ministry. Together our family served two years overseas with the International Mission Board.
Through my different work and life opportunities, I have developed a unique ability to listen, discern, ask questions and guide churches as they seek to improve their ministries. This remains my desire as I work with Red Pin in cultivating long-term relationships with churches and ministry organizations.
